On the outside I played it cool, but on the inside I was completely nerding out since I was meeting one of my favorite authors face-to-face. She was super friendly, laid back, and eager to answer her fans questions.
I had the pleasure of meeting Mead in person when she was still in the process of writing the Vampire Academy series. Mead is just awesome, not only is she from my home state (yay Michigan!), but her vibrant stories of the supernatural and paranormal are what make her books so interesting. Mead started out as a teacher of Social Studies and English and wrote in her free time until she sold her first novel, Succubus Blues. She is known for the Georgina Kincaid series, Vampire Academy series, and the Dark Swan series.
